This year, REDed is beyond excited to announce our brand new Holiday Program launching in Sydney – ‘Everybody Dance Now’! Get ready for two unforgettable days as we jump into jazz, hip hop, and musical theatre. Led by passionate instructors, each workshop blends high-energy choreography and creative games with moments of pure joy, as children learn new skills, build confidence, and make friends along the way.

What to expect
Each day of the program kicks off with energising warm-ups designed to get bodies moving and minds engaged! We also throw some team-building games and group challenges in the mix to help friendships blossom, and let children develop important social skills such as communication, trust, and collaboration with fellow participants!
Throughout the day, participants will rotate through engaging dance and performance workshops. From high-energy hip hop to the stylised movement of jazz and the storytelling magic of musical theatre, these workshops cater to all skill levels and can provide a fun introduction or deeper dive into the world of dance. We’re focussed on learning choreography, enhancing musical expression, and theatrical techniques in an inclusive and supportive environment.
Beneath the surface, we’re all about helping participants gain confidence in performing and presenting in front of others by encouraging open body language and stage presence across every choreography session, game or team-building exercise. These skills are valuable in everyday life, helping children express themselves clearly and confidently, and so are an essential element of ‘Everybody Dance Now’! Participants will also collaborate in small groups to brainstorm and create their own short performance pieces.

Whether they’re brand new or already love to dance, our Holiday Program welcomes boys and girls from Kindy to Year 6 for an unforgettable, confidence-building adventure!
The Showcase Concert
We love when dancers shine not just in our sessions, but in a performance. That’s why our program ends with a Showcase Concert! Families are invited to watch as young performers take the stage with vibrant dances they’ve been learning across the program. It’s a joyful celebration of each child’s progress and a wonderful way to end the program.
When children dance together, they’re not just learning steps but also building trust, empathy, and real friendships that often last long after the music stops. Each group challenge, from perfecting a routine to cheering each other on backstage, helps them discover the value of teamwork and the thrill of creative expression.
By the end of the program, kids will walk away with more than new moves—they gain self-belief, stronger communication skills, and a sense of accomplishment that can boost their confidence in all areas of life. Plus, the excitement of performing for friends and family creates memories that turn the holidays into a truly unforgettable experience!
