At REDed, we believe in the power of dance education to promote physical fitness, creativity and confidence in students, while aligning with the National Curriculum. We recognise that dance is not just an expressive art form but also a valuable tool for a child’s mental and physical development.
Believe it or not, dancing didn’t steal Dale’s heart right away. At the tender age of four, she joined creative dance classes and recalls crying through the first six months of classes! Fast forward four years, and Dale began jazz ballet classes to substitute the lack of physical education at her primary school.
As part of our Extra-Curricular Program, many students choose to push themselves one step further with our Show Troupe Program. We love this particular offering as it is an opportunity to showcase the fabulous work of REDed students in the wider community (in glittering costumes of course!).
All aboard! First stop in our trip down memory lane is on the high seas! REDed was lucky to partner with P&O Cruises, offering free and fun dance classes to children onboard selected cruises. The dance program was a huge success onboard P&O Pacific Pearl.
Studies show that introducing kids to the joy of dancing enhances physical wellbeing, fosters creativity, and provides positive opportunities for kids to develop their social skills. With all of these positive outcomes, it’s a no wonder why schools love REDed’s School Programs as they see first hand just how powerful and transformative dance can be for their students!
