The REDed Parent Portal is for students who are currently enrolled in our Extra-Curricular Program or wishing to register to audition for one of our Show Troupes.
At REDed we are passionate about providing exceptional dance education within school environments that are inclusive of both dancers and non-dancers. Over the past 24 years we have developed our programs to ensure a positive experience for all involved. And that includes you!
Please utilise the calendar in the Parent Portal for all important dates. These are also listed in your Logistics document in Shared Files.
The connections and friendships that dancers make as part of their dance journey are extremely special.
From weekly rehearsals to competitions, performances, and concert days, these bonds are strengthened through the dancer`s shared passion for dance, and last well beyond the time spent in the studio. @queenwoodschool ✨

Perform each stretch for 30 seconds on both sides, in an open space such as a lounge room, and they can even be done whilst you watch your TV!

The theme for NAIDOC Week this year, which came to an end yesterday (7-14 July), is "Keep the fire burning! Blak, loud and proud". REDed is proud to collaborate with and work alongside @bangarradancetheatre to create our First Nations Lens Curricular program.
REDed deeply values this relationship that allows us to contribute to opening the minds of little people through stories, movement and dance, to recognise the cultural heritage that enriches our nation.

The end of Semester 1 at @lindfieldlearningvillage was celebrated by fantastic performances at the Dance Enhance Winter Showcase. The joyous afternoon saw dancers showcase their development in Terms 1 and 2 for friends and family, which received incredible support and celebration from the audience.

REDed has collaborated with the fabulous sports team and students of St Pius X College since 2010. With such a healthy and strong relationship, we love that the school collectively celebrates the dance achievements of their Year 5 and 6 students in a positive and active way.

This week during National Reconciliation Week, selected members of the @ausgirlschoir have embarked on a week-long program with @girlsfromoz, at Lockhart River situated on Queensland’s Cape York Peninsula.
REDed is thrilled to have our dance routines shared as part of the arts education, workshops and performances with g-oz. And in particular we love the reignited routine by our very own Head REDed @daledancesandstuff and the very talented @tesk12. These two images are 10 years apart - connection lives on through dance!
Our partnership with Girls from Oz allows us to contribute and connect with all participants from afar. “Now More Than Ever” is the theme for National Reconciliation Week, and this remarkable moment for connection is truly special to facilitate REDed`s deep commitment to reconciliation.

Competition #2 of the season @dancelifeunite was an exceptional experience all round.
All of our REDed competing Troupes in the Primary and Secondary School sections danced their hearts out on stage. With many wonderful placings we want to acknowledge all Troupes for representing their School so impressively.

REDed shares a truly unique and deeply established relationship with Lindfield Public School. We are thrilled to have been able to offer our Curricular (and extra curricular) classes to the students of LPS for a remarkable 11 years!
We look forward to continuing to share the magic of REDed with the students of LPS, for many years to come.
Last week our competition season was officially launched for 2024! 🎉
The inspiring, sequin-filled two days of teamwork and celebration saw 13 of our Troupes compete at the @sydcatholicschools Eisteddfod. Here at REDed we are so incredibly proud of the courage that each dancer showed for their first competition, with some of our dancers performing in their very first Eisteddfod ever.
We cannot wait for the remainder of our Troupes to also display their passion for dance, and shine on stage at the upcoming competitions this Term.👏

Created in collaboration with @bangarradancetheatre, our enhanced curricular programs have been introduced this year and they are off to an empowering start.
Our approach includes a movement-based, land connected Acknowledgement to Country; movement exercises that explore Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders’ ways of living, being and sharing; and dedicated storytelling creations in relation to specifically created Australiana themed routines. 🍂
