Bring a REDed Show Troupe to your School!
Are you looking for an exciting new performance opportunity for your students in 2025?
In REDed’s Extra-Curricular Show Troupe program, students will shine on stage whether they are performing in intimate school halls for family and friends through to iconic venues like the Sydney Opera House.
The Show Troupe Program allows dancers to put their performance skills to the test and has a focus on extending dancers who want to pursue excellence. More than just stage time, the performance opportunities hone teamwork, self-management, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills – all while building self-confidence
Congratulations to every dancer who graced the stage this year, with special applause to those taking their first bow! Dive into the highlights of August as we spotlight the remarkable competitions our Show Troupes have performed in, showcasing their hard work to the wider community (in dazzling costumes, of course!).
Sydney Eisteddfod – August 4
37 of our primary school Show Troupes participated in the prestigious Sydney Eisteddfod at the magnificent Sydney Opera House, performing on the Concert Hall stage. Joining 2,500 performers, our dancers experienced an exciting day of competition, surrounded by diverse and competitive entries from across Greater Sydney. The adjudicators were experienced specialists who provided our dancers with invaluable feedback. Our troupes excelled, securing 14 notable placements: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and numerous Highly Commended awards. Earlier this year, our secondary school troupes also made their mark at the Concourse in Chatswood, earning a commendable 3rd place.
Evolution – August 11
A week after our largest competition of the year, 21 of our eager primary and secondary school Show Troupes jumped straight back on the stage to perform at Evolution. Our troupes performed with confidence, energy and skill, taking home a number of placings across the following categories.
Year 1-2 Section:

“This is my daughter’s first REDed experience and it certainly won’t be her last! She has thrived and enjoyed dance even more so than ever. Thank you for prepping our dancers with the confidence and talent performing collaboratively on various stages!” – Giselle, parent

2024 has been a phenomenal year of performances for our Show Troupes. We have seen remarkable improvement in our dancers throughout the year as they developed their skills through these performance opportunities. We have also been proud to witness the friendships that have blossomed and the confidence our dancers have gained throughout the competition season. A special thank you to the REDed team for curating the stunning costumes that helped our dancers shine on stage. Bring on 2025!
